Description

West Kilbride Life magazine is a recently-launched community magazine with an initial circulation of 1500.

The magazine is distributed through letterboxes to residents and businesses in and around the Craft Town of West Kilbride, North Ayrshire.

I plan to extend circulation to nearby coastal villages, which include sailing communities based in nearby marinas. It reaches affluent householders, and includes articles of general interest as well as advertising from businesses. The magazine aims to support local community groups and charities by offering them free publicity, as well as supporting businesses in Ayrshire by offering low cost advertising.

Unlike other local publications, it is delivered through letterboxes and therefore more likely to be picked up and opened. The inclusion of articles, puzzles and competitions ensures that it is not just a book of adverts.

Opportunities exist for advertising, editorials, leaflet delivery with the magazine, and sponsorship of competitions by donating prizes.
